Terms
Terms of use
These terms apply to the Checkpoint service. By using Checkpoint, you agree to use it as a personal tracking and record-keeping tool and not as a substitute for professional medical care.
1. What Checkpoint does
Checkpoint helps adults record, organise, review and export information such as treatment schedules, treatment events, inventory, measurements, observations, bloodwork and progress.
2. What Checkpoint does not do
Checkpoint does not diagnose a condition, prescribe treatment, decide whether a treatment is suitable, recommend or change a treatment, determine an appropriate dose, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
3. Adults only
Checkpoint is intended for people aged 18 and over.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to your email account, devices and Checkpoint session secure. You must not attempt to access another person's account, bypass security controls or interfere with the service.
5. Your records
You are responsible for the information you enter. Checkpoint records what you provide and may perform descriptive or arithmetic calculations from those values. Do not rely on Checkpoint as the only source of information for a medical decision.
6. Service availability
Features may change, bugs may occur and availability is not guaranteed. Product feedback is welcome and may be used to improve Checkpoint.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Checkpoint unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, abuse invitations or authentication, deliberately overload the service or use it in a way that materially harms other users or the service.
8. Exports and account deletion
Checkpoint provides tools to export user-recorded information and permanently delete your account. Account deletion is irreversible once completed.
9. Product ownership
Checkpoint's software, brand, interface and original product content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You retain rights in information and content you enter, subject to the processing needed to provide the service.
10. Availability and responsibility
Reasonable care is taken to keep Checkpoint available and accurate, but uninterrupted availability or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Checkpoint is provided as a tracking and record-keeping service and is not responsible for treatment decisions made by users or third parties.
11. Free trial and paid subscriptions
New eligible accounts receive 14 days of full access from their first successful sign-in, without providing payment details. Trial expiry does not automatically start a charge. The limited Free plan allows one active treatment, one active schedule and one active goal. Previously recorded history remains accessible.
Optional CheckPoint Premium on the UK website costs £4.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe until cancelled. The final price and any applicable charges are displayed before payment confirmation. Premium allows additional active treatments, schedules and goals.
You can cancel your website subscription through the account's Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period, after which your plan returns to Free without restarting the original trial. Deleting your CheckPoint account also closes its linked website subscription to prevent further renewals.
For billing, cancellation or refund questions, contact CheckPoint support. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights, including any applicable cancellation and refund rights.
